The Individual report for PAT Tuhituhi contains a number of components that can be displayed or hidden using the toggle feature in the right-hand filter menu.
The first section displays the assessment (task), assessment name, student name, and the writing prompt.
The second section displays the prompt genre and has a link to view/download a pdf copy of the marking rubric.
The chart below displays the eight rubric elements and the progress scores (1-5) along with the matching descriptor of student knowledge and skill. In the chart header you can see who the Marker was the Assist user who manually marked the response) as well as the overall scale score and Year level information.
This report can be used in multiple ways:
- Kaiako can use ākonga scores as evidence of embedded learning therefore successful teaching of specific elements of writing over previous terms
- Kaiako can review strengths and needs and relate the rubric elements to specific knowledge and practices in the NZ Curriculum. EG A progress score of 2 in both Content development and Organisation might require kaiako review of Writing to persuade and/or Audience purose and language choice.
- Align this student with other ākonga who scored the same number as they will all require specific targetted teaching from the knowledge and practices that match the next progress descriptor to achieve progress.
