Assessment booklets for PAT Tuhituhi Te Pihinga | PAT Writing Foundation tool (for Years 3 - 4) are printed within NZCER Assist. Unlike other PAT's booklets they are not ordered from our sales division.

Currently, PAT Tuhituhi Te Pihinga | PAT Writing Foundation assessments need to be created manually. We will be adding this subject to our SMS upload feature later in 2026. 


To print booklets, you will first need to create the assessment within NZCER Assist and add your students. Step-by-step guides are available at How do I create assessments? and How do I add students to an assessment? 

To then print the assessment:

Step 1: Click on Dashboard in NZCER Assist (left menu)

Step 2: Click on PAT Tuhituhi Te Pihinga | Writing Foundation tile below the Assessments heading.

Step 3: Identify the writing assessment and click on the Manage Users icon below the Actions column:


Step 4: Click the Print selected or Print all button (above the black column headings):


Step 5: The Print button will be located at the bottom of the Settings box below the filters and/or student names.
